Clinical Interests
Katie is passionate about preventative oral healthcare and the connection between our oral health with the health of the rest of our body. She particularly values working with patients with dental anxiety and special healthcare needs. Katie loves to work on removable prosthodontic cases as she cherishes memories of learning how to make dentures from her dad, Dr. Ben Merrick. Katie approaches dentistry with curiosity and humility and loves to learn from her mentors, colleagues, and patients.
Family Life
Outside of dentistry, Katie can be found running, hiking with her partner Mitch and their dog Crosby, reading, and baking.
